The previous post was created due to some hearsay from KM SE that FD Civic is to be made in Thai in future batches...

 

Unless someone from KM officially endorse this...

the new civics are made in Thailand.

CIty, CRV, Accords are also made in Thailand.

 

cos, when i was in Thailand near Rayong, i had seen many car trailers transporting these cars to Ports for shipping it out. most of the Civics were 1.8 or 2.0 models.

 

even my Thai friend who is a car craze fan attests that Honda cars are mostly made in Thailand nowdays, better revenue for Honda.

 

that's the reason y KM only brings in Thai-made models except airwave, stream etc....

maybe stream may be made in Thai cos the new KM stream will be launched in late May or June.

 

Toyota's vios, yaris, altis etc are also made in Thai.

Are u sure your source is reliable? Did KM officially said that their Civics are made in Thailand? Yes, Civics may be manufactured in Thailand but that may be for the Thai market only. U need solid evidence to back up your claims.
