Hello all, can someone tell me what car this is? From what I understand it's called the Mazda Astina or 323F is it?

Would that make a good first time car? Is it a rare car? Only have seen a few on the roads. How much would I expect to pay for this car?

Thanks all.

Not a good first car. Too old..

First car best to get something smaller for easier parking and easier to drive on the road.

2005 Tuscani: http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-2AobmN6d-500.html 50k Auto

2005 Civic: http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-2AaCbR34-500.html 48k Manual

1996 Civic SIR: http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-2XMuYiU5-1000.html 57k Manual

The SIR plain wicked, it is a 2L engine [sly] , instead of the 1.6L. The racing seats are also good quality. If you like more speed, you can go for the SIR. For normal driving, the 2005 civic is quite a bargain, good mileage and good condition. If you are the one that go for looks, the Tuscani will do for you.

Perhaps you might wanna consider the Proton Gen 2 1.3L. You can get it brand new at only slightly above 40K and it looks quite similar to the Astina.

Pretty reliable & maintenance is cheap, as there's plenty of spare parts and workshops up north. Thus, I would strongly recommend it as a 1st time car over the Astina anytime.

Dun look down on My cars, they're quite built hardy. Anytime more reliable than many conti cars out there [lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed]

Agree, buying car is not that simple. It is not the car price alone, one has to consider the depreciation, loan interest, repair fees ( older cars face a higher possibility of breaking down), FC ( . If the used car is too old or not popular at other countries, it cant be exported. Welcome to scrapeyard [cool]

Why don't go to http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/listing.php and enter the min price and max price.

Aww man! That would just suck. I kinda like the sporty shape of the Astina. Didn't know its so rare now. Thought it was quite common in the past. Is it really impossible to get one now? Sighs... though I still see a number of the older model Astina on the road. SGCARMART also still have.

I kinda like the Gen2 sporty design but sorry I don't support MY.
