Road hogging part aside, what's the point in tailgating until so close if the guy is ignoring you? If the SG car just jam braked, could have been a serious accident. Worse still if involve other cars behind. Just overtake the fellow from the left safely and move on.
Neutrino Supercharged February 21, 2018 Share February 21, 2018 Road hogging part aside, what's the point in tailgating until so close if the guy is ignoring you? If the SG car just jam braked, could have been a serious accident. Worse still if involve other cars behind. Just overtake the fellow from the left safely and move on. Maybe the Singapore car was hoping to get rear ended then he could claim for the damage already done to his backside as being part and parcel of the new rear ending.
Zippaboy 4th Gear May 6, 2018 Share May 6, 2018 thanks for sharing. first time hearing of needing to keep spare halogen bulbs in the car...During the time when most of the cars were still on halogen, bulbs manufacturer keep coming up with brighter lights like Philips xtremepower, xtremevison, racing vision, osram night breaker etc. Maybe because i used to travel on nshw so often and had a bad experience on a non lighted portion with a blown headlight so i take more precaution. It is really very dangeroous and scary. I always change to the brightest legal bulbs available and keep the old bulbs as spare. Note: Do not do any repairs at the road side. Go to the next RNR if possible. If not call the PLUS hotline, usually they will arrive in 10-20mins. Very fast. The towing is totally free of charge.
Zippaboy 4th Gear May 6, 2018 Share May 6, 2018 Hi, I be getting my new car Nissan Qashqai soon, will be driving up to Penang within days getting my car.. May I ask nowadays do we still need to ârun inâ the new car to be able to drive such long distance ? My car agent say is normal and ok to drive Long distance and no need to ârun inâ cos nowadays cars technology is different. But I am still quite sceptical and hope to have more views or comments on it. Thank you in advance. Sorry, this reply might seem abit late but for the benefit of others who might have the same question. For almost all my new cars, i prefer to run in on NSHW. It is much faster and also easier to vary the RPM. Anyway, any workshops in malaysia can do a simple oil change and it is not expensive. When you are back in SG, go back to the AD again to do/"clock" the oil change. This might see excessive, but i take it as form of "expensive" engine flushing with engine oil and for a peace of mind. How you treat your engine in the initial stage will reward you in future. Dont be scare to rev up your engine from time to time to have proper run in and have a good sealing from top to bottom of the entire stroke. So far all my engines have been returning better than average FC and minimal to nil oil consumption even after 120k mileage. ↡ Advertisement
