U shouldn't have admitted your fault. Should hv argued that the security let u pass but as u passed, suddenly the barrier came down on ur car since u mentioned that it was coming down... That way, u can also claim damages.

Sound like the guy that reversed and hit my car and subsequently reported I banged into him. Very TL till today.

Sorry, I am awarding you 5 dislike points as your post says a lot about you.

He never withdraw his statement, so my statement stands. He is just getting his demerit points 7 years late, in legal language, we call it retroactive. lol.

I wish to acquire your advice regarding a recent issue that I have encountered. Last Friday, 15th August 2014. I parked my car at SS15, as I could recall both cars that parked beside me, a myvi, and car that looks like Proton Exora. As usual, I went to class. When i came back approximately around 6pm. I was shocked to found scratch marks on the left side of my car, there were 4 scratch lines, with the "crashers" paint, including a dent, and all I could assume was, the car parking in the left hit my car, i went to check the left car, but no marks were found, so i assume that the "crasher" was the owner of the "Exora" car. Im aware of the car's specifications, such as dark tinted side windscreen, and white coloured. I decided to went home and consult my parents. I could also recall the driver to be a female student as i saw her sitting in her car during Friday morning. Yesterday, I waited 15minutes, searching every white car that looks like Exora. Unfortunately, my search was ended with no results. This morning, I saw her car, and immediately recognized the car, i checked the sides and it matches perfectly, but i didnt know she was in the car. When she get down from her car, i confronted her and asked whether she parked at the spot during Friday. She immediately replied with a NO. I waited till she left, and checked the scratch marks again, apparently, my paint was on her car, and it matches perfectly based on height. I wrote a notice letter: Dear, Owner of this car. I am aware of what you did last Friday, I have proof and evidence, which is images to prove that your hit my car. I have taken pictures of your number plate. Please do contact me, xxx-xxxxxxx or appropriate action will be taken. What should i do now? any advice?

Judging frm your license plate, I believe you're driving a high end car. To me, it's a typical hit N run case, you can file a police report and call your insurance company and proceed with 3rd party claim. But the chance is slim as there is no witness or recorded video. But u are lucky to know the other party, try to settle it privately. If really can't, I'm afraid you gotta bear the full cost by yourself. Maybe u can upload some pic for the guru here to assess your damage.

The above post by Bryantteh concerns an accident at SS15. SS15 is a suburb of Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Sounds suspicious why the post is copied to MCF. Furthermore, it's a first post by a Newbie. As Alice (in Wonderland) said, "Curiouser and curiouser."

Now this govt. of ours is using barriers even on city roads in Jalan Besar Area/ Serangoon Road Area; So many times I have seen the the barrier tilted "bengkok" as sometimes just because the estate is full it does not open and some people might think it automatically raises up and drive in and too late to stop and kenna ; as they just want to enter and exit immediately;  I understand that people or residents are not having enuf lots but at the same time many people just use it as a thoroughfare
