Dahawk Clutched March 31, 2007 Share March 31, 2007 Today a tai tai with sunglasses almost buanged into me at the exit from BKE to bukit panjang, because she couldn't keep to her lane during the round about.
Toyo 1st Gear March 31, 2007 Share March 31, 2007 IMHO, regardless of gender... shortie should stay away from such transpo unless they are driving a bus... unfortunately, nowadays got more n more tai-tai also driving such kind of transpo with their half-past six driving skills...dun they know they are a driving hazzard...should bann them driving it...stick with smaller cc car They are short so they opt for higher seating posture. maybe they shld have a ground guide

Jacf Neutral Newbie March 31, 2007 Share March 31, 2007 i know who u referring to .. but the actual case is that she did not run over her daughter. Her daughter was run over by a lorry when she dashed out onto the road as the main gate was not closed... anyway, i always think that the safety of children are always in the hands of the adults.. one moment of carelessness would result in lifetime of regrets.. Icekitten Clutched March 31, 2007 Share March 31, 2007 They are short so they opt for higher seating posture. maybe they shld have a ground guide Ya I always thought that this is why so many tai tais are opting to drive SUVs. Plus the vehicle is bigger la, can 'force' others to give way to them. But then shouldn't they then have a clearer view of the front since the seating position is higher and less obscured by her steering wheel and stuff on the dashboard, and not bcoz they are short, and sit high, thus cannot see? If they cannot see, then those driving low sedans or coupes worse rite?
Mubarakrashid Neutral Newbie March 31, 2007 Share March 31, 2007 no offence intended but those shortie who 1 2 drive such high car shd consider whether they will pose a safety hazzard to others... if die die hv to get such kind of transpo, do consider sensors, cctv to "see" their surrounding... hv my fair share of encountering idiot shortie drivers on such transpo who posed a danger to other road users when they can't keep to their lane, turn until eat into other pple lane, dun realise they r tailgating & going at high speed during peak hrs... auntie, me 1.7m tall nia..and driving such car.. consider ok or not?
