Thinking of that Carbon Fiber Bonnet with Vents

Me thinking of changing to a CF bonnet for sometime now. Not sure if this is legal or not. Is it true that if the bonnet comes with the 'skeleton' frame then it is ok? And typically, how much would that cost and where is a good place to source?

Bro, so far quite a few Mz3 Bros from Mazdaclub have theirs (With Skeleton Frame) ones installed at a shop called JDM owned by 1 Mazda Bros and have passed the inspection without any problem

 

Passed the inspection as some Mz3 are already 3 years old liao

 

I'm not sure whether JDM does carry for your make but you may wanna try

thanks, i am quite certain RD has as they also post on sgaltis.com but theirs is sky-price. i found one at Sung Beng and they asking more reasonable price but not sure of their workmanship or reputation. never patronise b4 so a little apprehensive.

that shop at eunos has a poor reputation. one of the guys at SLC kena and he's not the first one.

 

my bro got his CF bonnet done at Robson. Pricy but worth it, cos the bonnet has a bone structure so will be safer than those without.

 

btw his car is an ES5, i think he paid more than $700 for the bonnet..

there a shop doing CF stickers (on anywhere u want), fr website, it looks realistic. totally leagl too. at a fraction of the price for e real stuff. wanted to do but the website no more liao... any bro noes if Visionworkz is still in business???

hi bro.... sorry to hijack the thread..... anyone knw how to remove swirls frm CF bonnet? or can we respray the 'clear coat' to the CF bonnet?... frd bought a CF bonnet and custom it with vents of his design with 1 of the shop.... quite nice but got lots of swirls... think due to customizing of the vents.... can anyone help???? thks alot
