Hi guys,

I am acually driving a EE100. On Weber 40 DCNF.

Would like to ask the pros out there.

In the morning when warming up, i press the accelerator there is a loud screeching sound. Sounds like metal rubbing metal vey loud screeching sound. This sound only occurs when the engine is cool in the morning when i press the accelerator, after a few revs the sound gone? Anyone experince this problem? I think is from my my butterfly.

Please kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

Yup, I think its the belts. Try some silicon spray on both surface of the belt, that should keep the noise away for a few weeks at least till it comes back again.

No, don't use WD40....shakehead.gif

Silicon Spray act like moisturiser for rubber, so will help eliminate the noise from belt temporary. Been using that for a few years now, and it works everytime.thumbsup.gif

wd40 will stop it squeeking for about 5 minutes , thats all...

just get a block of hand soap and rub it on the inside of the belt..

can just hold it on the belt when the engine is on , or just rub it on as best you can..

that will sort it out [:)]
