Octopus 3rd Gear March 29, 2007 Share March 29, 2007 Yup, I think its the belts. Try some silicon spray on both surface of the belt, that should keep the noise away for a few weeks at least till it comes back again.

Octopus 3rd Gear March 29, 2007 Share March 29, 2007 No, don't use WD40.... Silicon Spray act like moisturiser for rubber, so will help eliminate the noise from belt temporary. Been using that for a few years now, and it works everytime.

Brad Neutral Newbie April 9, 2007 Share April 9, 2007 wd40 will stop it squeeking for about 5 minutes , thats all... just get a block of hand soap and rub it on the inside of the belt.. can just hold it on the belt when the engine is on , or just rub it on as best you can.. that will sort it out
