Michel Neutral Newbie April 25, 2003 Share April 25, 2003 Tuff Kote is generally for anti-rusting purposes. It is applied to the undercarriage for most of the new car nowadays. I believe a re-application is required annually. The cost should be $50 for re-application, if i'm correct. If you are talking about Tuff Kote's system 6, that is its paint sealant system for car-grooming purpose. Some people may choose to go back to using system 6 (if the car has been groomed by the system before) while others just move on the other car-grooming companies for their various services. You may like to visit www.tuffi.com.sg for more info and enquiry. Cheers.

GDIzen Neutral Newbie April 25, 2003 Share April 25, 2003 DIY like what I did... inside doors, undercarriage, inside bootlid, inside bonnet...that's where they cover anyway! Cost=2-3 aerosols of rustproofing compound that costs about $12-$15 each.

Michel Neutral Newbie April 27, 2003 Share April 27, 2003 i didn't tuff kote my car. It has always been there. Check your wheel arches and undercarriage, if it looks like it's been coated ie. black in colour, that means it's been tuff kote. Place to recommend? i think you should go to the tuff kote authorised workshop itself. The address is in that webpage. ↡ Advertisement
