(rant)Is it expensive? 215/40/17 F1-GSD3 at $195

Hi guys, just visited a tire shop and the guy quoted me germany MY06W52 eagle F1 gsd3(215/40/17) at $195 ea. The thai alternative cost from the same shop costs 150 ea.

 

Just ranting to recover from his sharp knife[ouch!], luckily bought only 2 pcs.

 

Some shops are selling the same profile thai model for only $125

It's from Germany.. and it's 17inch..

 

How much do you think is a reasonable price then?

 

BTW, pls tell me which shop coz I'm keen on buying if the F1 is from Germany..

160 to 180 would be reasonable, as I bought my previous german 17" F1s at ard that price.

 

Of course, look at the price comparison I've made for the thai tires. It is obviously more expensive than competition

german made is definetly more xpensive than thai made...you got yourself an excellent performance tyres...so enjoy the ride and security

In the end, i didn't get the tyres from Pxh Hxxg cos no stock for German Made Ones and available one is Made In Thailand

 

Price between the 2 differs by 25~30 bucks per tyre if i did not remember wrongly

Thai made F1s are definately cheaper now.

15" - $85

16" - $95

17" - not sure but should be about $110-130?
