Glendon Neutral Newbie March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 (edited) Hi Intend to install solar film for my Lancer. Understand that V-Kool has mind-share while Cool n Lite is value-for-money. Which one would you recommend if quality is the over-riding concern? Off-the-cuff, anyone knows their ball-park prices? Thanks! Yaloryalor 5th Gear March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 My 2nd and current car both use cool n lite. I would think they are good in term of workmanship. I got the premium grade that is reflective green colour. I like it!

Crv007 Neutral Newbie March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 Hi Intend to install solar film for my Lancer. Understand that V-Kool has mind-share while Cool n Lite is value-for-money. Which one would you recommend if quality is the over-riding concern? Off-the-cuff, anyone knows their ball-park prices? Thanks! If you want V-Kool, have you consider 3M?? slightly cheaper than V-kool, performance wise dun think inferior to V-kool. http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/Aftermarke..._Film_P1765617/
Dafansu Turbocharged March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 both are premium films, not cheap, vkool more popular, but prefer cooln lite.
Glendon Neutral Newbie March 19, 2007 Author Share March 19, 2007 Hi I read on the V-Kool website that their technology is based on reflecting heat so that cracking of glass due to heat built-up is avoided. I can't find similar technical information on Cool n Lite's website though. If the quality were comparable, then I think Cool n Lite is the natural choice by virtue of their competitive pricing. Shuzhen04 Neutral Newbie March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 YR LANCER?? Is it new?? Cos i am using V-kool, is really a good product ,Car under sun, not that hot, Protected from UV rays as well..heard this will make your FC better , due to Heat not absorbed, AIR CON need not tune to that high.. Kozen Neutral Newbie March 21, 2007 Share March 21, 2007 (edited) Hi Intend to install solar film for my Lancer. Understand that V-Kool has mind-share while Cool n Lite is value-for-money. Which one would you recommend if quality is the over-riding concern? Off-the-cuff, anyone knows their ball-park prices? Thanks! I have CoolnLite installed recently on my new car. Great product, reasonable price. I don't feel hot and don't even wear sunglasses even when i'm driving under the hot sun.
