Hey guys...

http://www.xxxxxxx.com/articles/article.p...pageid=1&view=1

I had the chance to drive it up to Cameron highlands with e R32, and I just had time to hammer out a less than decent review.

The roads there all like those japanese touge found in japan...both simpang pulai and the tapah mountain passes...very good opportunity to whack the car upside down.

It's ALOT better than the Golf GTi -drools- and easier to drive fast as compared to a WRX or EVO for lazy people like me...hehe....I hope for it to be my next car if I can afford it..it's a work of art [cool]

no leh...didn't feel it. come to think of it...you wouldn't expect the V6 to weigh that much more than a GTi, considering there isn't an intercooler, turbocharger, or any turbo related piping. also there is some more weight back there because of the 4 wheel drive.

It is safe to say that two more cylinders mounted slightly further back offsets the weight of the lack or turbo and piping?

then, the 4 motion should also be doing its job for such an expensive car. The only time where you might feel a little bit more weight up front can be felt when u suddenly brake into a corner should you overspeed...hehe

Honestly, all that safety and predictability makes it a boring car because nothing "Exciting" happens...not like in a RWD...heh heh.

Nice site and review.

IMHO, the 2 addtional cylinders cannot be mounted slightly further back as the engine is transversely mounted. See picture. The entire engine is in front of the front strut towers. Which probably means that the entire engine weight is out in front. Just like the Alfa Romeo 147 and 156 GTA. Front heavy. Only when the engine is longitudinally mounted can some of its cylinders be set further back (e.g. Ferrari 599 with V12 in front and gear box in the rear (transaxle like Alfa Romeo of old)).

OMG! HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THAT????

-wants to kill myself-

hahaha...thanks for pointing that out cool_jazz

but even then, its possible for the entire block to be mounted further back towards the firewall right? up to the manufacturers that is..
