Alternatively, flash and horn him from behind.

Think flashing and horning from behind is an invitation of unexpected reaction in Singapore [sweatdrop]

Why make your life miserable by pondering over such things?

Are u really so concern about how ppl see u?

Let's say for ppl who jam brake for no apparent reason, do u think what they did is legal?

When on the road ppl just react to situations, u dun think so much on reasoning especially when some drivers do stoopid things on the road.

Was on my way towards tampines this morning, traffic was relatively clear along PIE

Wat time and wich part of PIE were u when u overtook the Harrier @110km/hr?

if it is the stretch after Bedok Exit and before Tampines, then u may have been on TP's "Candid Camera".

There were several TP Ops this morning n that stretch had one TP on the overhead bridge. And for info, that stretch's limit is 80km/hr.

The Harrier's hi-beam may have been a warning to you to slow down.

Good Luck..!!! [;)]

Yup, before bedok exit, still very far from the tampines cameraman...

Was on my way towards tampines this morning, traffic was relatively clear along PIE, this Black Toyota Harrier was doing 80-90km/hr on the extreme right. Overtook him from left and was Fired with a few rounds of High Beammmmsss....

I will just treat it as a "normal" change to the left lane, and then change back to the right lane again. Not really "over-taking" actually.

If the road hogger high-beams me, I will just return him with the hazard lights. Easy.

It is illegal to overtake from left side at expressway. There is an offence under TP offence list. However, not many drivers aware of this offence. Of course TP might see the situation if want to book for this offence.

Agree. I once met an accident with a biker. We were both behind this car on the center lane. So I overtook the car on the right lane and so happened the bike also sped up and overtake on the left lane and somehow we collided when both filtering back to the center lane. The case was brought to the police and he has no case cos he overtook on the left. So in the end 50% 50% but I still gave me some money to see doctor though.

But 50-50 doesn't mean that he is at fault for overtaking on the left. It means both of you are equally at fault right? It's just that he has no case to say that you are totally at fault. [:/]

I also think there is nothing wrong with overtaking on the left (when really necessary). Under this circumstance, the driver just need to exercise more care and ensure the blind spot area is cleared.

Neutral Newbie
Thanks...Never thought of it, but at least now i know it's legal [;)]

Some countries calls this as "undertaking" ie. overtaking on the slower side.

undertaking...sounds like dealing with dead people [sweatdrop]

could he be booking you for driving (overtaking from left) abruptly/dangerously?
