i travel cck to yck daily. found route 2 better and not necessarily much longer. juz slightly further but you save on fc. mandai can be a pain when got slow vehicle on all the lanes.

take route 2- no traffic lights = less time wasted. No need to stop & take off = save on fc. Shorter distance does not equate to less fc nor less time. Taking into consideration the speed of expressways (90kmh) versus normal roads(70kmh),etc.

why not try this route from KJE - BKE ( towards woodlands ) , exit (kranji turf club ) to SLE - TPE- punggol . slightly longer , but smoother ride .

Supercharged

go with route 2.

route 1 alot of traffic lights especially on mandai road, plus speed limit 70 plus coming to junction of lentor ave u will be hit by jam due to many cars going to city.

there's another route.

Woollands Road - turn right into Mandai Avenue - turn right at junction end of Mandai Avenue - go up SLE - continue journey...

bro.. why not take KJE -> AYE -> ECP -> TPE ??? [sweatdrop][sweatdrop] sure super good FC.. haha.. no la.. joking only..

Route 2 is faster...

But if u wanna enjoy seletar reservoir view, can take KJE -> BKE -> Mandai Ave -> Mandai Rd -> Sembawang Rd -> SLE, i think this is shorter than route 1.

Which part of CCK you stay?

My route will be: From sungei kadut into woodlands road, turn right and travel along kranji turf club and straight into SLE/CTE, then TPE/PIE to punggol. Can avoid KJE liao.
