Galantspeedz Turbocharged March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 (edited) 1) though its a pt a to b car, if u dun enjoy it den i guess its really not that good after all. 2) its not the brand but the resale value and especially if u walk the bridge over north u will find urself damn stupid to pay so much higher for a car. y buy kia instead of proton? both prices are abt the same. 3) you have to admit the workmanship and quality is not up to par 4) if u really think it is because u are financial conscious thats y u get a proton den i think u r wrong. a FC person will not even get a car. if its really the most you can afford, there is also nothing shameful abt it. alot family can't afford a car. 5) most are brand conscious including me but if that is all i can afford, there is nothing i can do about it. no point consoling myself that i am financially smarter so i buy a lesser known or cheaper car when compared to others. Weezersg 3rd Gear March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 I find fog light very glaring whether they behind me or opposite side of the road to me. I am glad TP is clamping down on fog light usage during fine weather. Singapore road is very well lit there is no reason to use a fog light. There is a reason why it is called a 'FOG' light. Travelling on Msian intercity road or expressway is different as they are no street lamps. Heavy rain or foggy then usage is fine.
Dunno Neutral Newbie March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 (edited) Never been blinded by stock fog lights before cos they shine on the ground and are meant to shine low on the ground. Unless the fog lights are modified to shine straight or upwards. Only been blinded by mis-aligned headlights most of the time. Zyrofillica 1st Gear March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 agree agree... can check out the other fog light thread. this mitsu lancer had REALLY bright aftermarket fogs. They shouldnt be clamping down on everyone just because of them but then again i guess this is the easiest way of doing things. Anyway, so far no TP stop me yet on my stock fogs will report on this forum if i ever get stopped and booked. cheers!
