Have any 1 try before ?? can feel power gain instantly? will engine check light up? fc different?

Hi Bro,

Previously I have decat my G9 (auto), no a wish choice. Low rev really suffer, FC increases and so does noise level. Personally, I feel that there are no power gain from decat, not worth to do it. Secondly, will attract the attention of white ants.

De cat is very toxic but a good breather for the exhaust,u might also consider bigger diameter header.

Disadvantage: - Toxic exhaust smell,lots of carbon will affect the rear bumper near exhaust tip to go black,

fuel consumption increase,sure fail inspection.

Usual method is change intake and exos. Legal exos will depend on make. Usually comes with cert on some HKS etc.

 

Watch out for loss of low end when it's too free flowing for both intake and exos, i.e. you'll potentially lose low end for high end rev.

 

Stick to legal exos and keep your cat.

4-2-1 bigger than stock diameter header,remove meow meow,keep the muffler stock.

At least u wont loose too much low end.But i warn u,not pass and f/c will drop
