I just saw 2 maids washing thier owners cars at the basement carpark...but what shocked me was I only see bottles of JIF, MAMA LEMON, WINDEX WINDOW CLEANER, what looked like a 3M sponge with the green scrub, .....

none of the usual car washing shampoo or wax...but all household cleaner stuff....

do u guys let your maids wash your car???

If I have a maid and if she volunteers to wash it once in a while. I wouldn't mind.

But I will teach her how and what to wash it with cos obviously where they come from their family dun own a car, if not she wun be here [rolleyes] working for me as a maid.

Of course I could not possibly expect her to have even the simple know how as to go about washing my car. I'm really surprised to see how ppl can expect so much from a maid?? [hur]

If you work in CBD, PT is good for economical reasons and the travel time is fairly short too.

If you work in industrial areas (Tuas, Loyang etc)then PT is not a very feasable option and the reason is simple:

Although the MRT is fast and efficient but they stop at general locations.

To go to an exact location, most prob bus is the only option.

And we know that busses are always late + slow + packed.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers.

Yes i noticed that they actually begin to reduce frequencies of the train arrivals and now trains take longer arrival times, leading to more packed trains and unhappy passengers even though the train fares have been increased.

Same prob with bus that they reduce frequency of bus so that passengers jam pack into bus like sardine so no one can actually blame the commuter beside you acting nasty as ppl get upset when personal space is breached...

Upset ppl can do many illogical things...

Now that is why i dun like PT due to the oppression of their commuters which are their customers and that is the reason why i would rather pay more to own a car to saving time and preserving my good mental health cos time is money and health is wealth.

i either ask a professional to wash my car or wash myself... but at times so dirty that i lazy to wash then go petrol kiosk (not advisable actually). I don't mind paying up to $20.00 asking a professional to wash my car.

Yar, petrol kiosk manual wash are terrible. They only spray water & foam [thumbsup] but as for wiping ur car its [thumbsdown] Always realise that the lower part of the car not clean @ all. still got lots of dirt & dried grass [dizzy] waste $.

Actually it is illegal to ask her wash your car.... it is not household chores... i don't know abt pvt house owners if the car park at porch

I once questioned this also. Apparently, our garment has double standards. If the car is parked in the porch of a landed property (ie. the car is within your own and private compound, you can ask the maid to wash the car.) If the car is in a HDB carpark, then its is considered illegal becos the car is not within the compound that is under your name.

so if i stay landed property and i park the car indoor i can treat it as a piece of furniture [;)]

Apparently, that is wat the MOM law seems to imply. [hur]
