Nicholas 5th Gear October 20, 2008 Share October 20, 2008 Talk about bad luck... my swift exhaust just broke 2 days ago. Also dunno why broke after movies at woodlands. Maybe someone go and kick it. Got a shock when it sounds like someone put in a turbo when I was away. Went to my fren's workshop and his dad, the boss, qing zhi chu ma and welded it in 1 hr. How fast was you traveling when you jam brake? Must be careful... recently death accidents not little. ↡ Advertisement
Nicholas 5th Gear October 22, 2008 Share October 22, 2008 Wah lao eh, my own advice never give to myself. Jam brake when traffic lights turn red near bugis area (anyone saw ?), then car skid right and towards to railings on the right, quickly steer left, skid left, quickly steer right until straight... all feels like slow motion and in my mind, wah lao, accident liao. Pedestrians all stare at me, think I doing some stunt or what... lucky on most right lane, otherwise sure bang into other car. Lesson learnt. Wet = drive slow slow. Think playing Initial D in the past train me to steer really quickly.

Nicholas 5th Gear October 23, 2008 Share October 23, 2008 (edited) Front back wheels different, think back wheels Yokohama, front one I think bridgestone Must be previous owner sold his tyres before he sold it to dealer... or dealer changed it. One of the wheels quite old, but didn't expect it to do that. Gonna change soon. Edited October 23, 2008 by Nicholas
Ysc3 Twincharged February 23, 2018 Share February 23, 2018 Car Feng Shui Tips to ensure a HUAT New Year! Familiar with fengshui-ing your house and interested in learning more about what your fortune brings for the upcoming 2018? But have you ever thought of fengshui-ing your cars? Many of you spend a lot of time in your car and it may even be like your second home! Aside from placing a pair of oranges on the dashboard, take note of these Car Feng Shui tips to have an even better 2018! 1. Spring-Clean Your Car Like how you do spring cleaning before the New Year to remove the clutter and refresh your home, do the same for your car! If you have a thousand and one things in your car boot, throw away unwanted items, and keep what is required neatly. Clutter gravitates toward negative energy over time and may create unwanted tension and stress. Spring-cleaning also includes vacuuming the floor and seats and wiping the dashboard to remove all the dust. 2. Open all the windows to bring in fresh air As the car is an enclosed area, the air can contain certain chemical pollutants. It is wise to open up your windows every once in a while to let fresh air (chi) through. Convertibles or cars with sunroofs would do better in this department as it allows auspicious chi to enter your car. 3. Go for a car wash and focus on having clean windows (and mirrors) The windows of a car are like our eyes to us. We need to keep it clean to ensure that we have a clear view of the road ahead of us. This clarity and visibility will also allow more natural energy and sunshine to reach you when you are driving. 4. Introduce the element of water in the car Water is evokes clarity, thoughtfulness, and allows for the flow of energy. Place a bottle of water in your car to remind you to drink water regularly while driving, and to connect with the helpful qualities of the water element. 5. Accessorise your car with your lucky colours Choosing the right colour to place it in your car can bring you prosperity or elevate your luck in the upcoming 2018. Rat: Yellow/Grey Ox: Yellow/Red/Orange/Grey Tiger: Green/Blue/Black Rabbit: Brown/Yellow Dragon: Black/Blue Snake: Orange/Red Horse: Brown/Yellow Goat: Brown/Yellow Monkey: Blue/Black/Orange/Red Rooster: Yellow/Red/Orange/Grey Dog: Orange/Red/Green Pig: Yellow/Brown/Green Some ideas to accessorise your car are to change the colour of your floor mats, car seats, place seat cushions, or display simple accessories on your headboard. Make sure you choose something small so that it will not hinder your field of vision when driving. For the more precise fengshui enthusiasts, you may also want to find out your personal fengshui colour! Each individual has a feng shui number based on one’s gender and date of birth. This number, also know as “kua”, can be associated with a fengshui colour. When one chooses the correct colour, the driver is said to experience better overall luck! To count your individualised “kua” number, Take the year* of your birth (e.g. 1978) *Note: Chinese Birth Date Add the last two digits of the year together (e.g. 7+8=15) Bring the number to a single digit if required (e.g. for 15, 1+5=6) For the gentlemen, subtract the number from 10. (e.g. 10-6=4) For the ladies, add 5 to the number (e.g. 6+5=11) Bring the number to a single digit if required (e.g. for ladies 1+1=2) ** Do take note that this calculation is for individuals born before the Year 2000. Now, match your personal kua against your personal fengshui colour! Kua 1 – Black/Blue Kua 2 – Brown/Yellow Kua 3 – Dark Green Kua 4 – Light Green Kua 5 – Brown/Yellow Kua 6 – Gold/Silver/White Kua 7 – Gold/Silver/White Kua 8 – Brown/Yellow Kua 9 – Pink/Orange/Red Happy counting! 6. Choose the right spot and direction to park This year, you may want to think twice whenever you spot a lot in the car park. Where you park your car has a huge impact on the energy that it will absorb. Where possible, choose to park close to natural surroundings such as grassy areas or trees, rather than the rubbish bins. When you park your car after reaching home, make sure that you face it AWAY from your house. The reason is that if you point your car towards your home, it will create a poison arrow or sha chi, deteriorating the quality of energy of your house and should be avoided. We hope these fengshui tips help you to achieve better luck and prosperity in 2018!
