Saw this on sgcarmart

This car ain't exactly of cult status, it ain't old enough to be a classic car and yet not new enough to be one of the "desirable" coe cars

 

yet its asking for yearly dep of almost 7k.

 

Do old cars really fetch such a good price, if so then keeping a conti coe ride may reap its returns in due course - in this case 2 rounds of coe renewal.

 

or is the owner nuts and hoping that someone who is more [hur] than him will buy the car

You cannot compute the depreciation in such a way because such cars will not go to the scrapyard when it's coe expires.

 

Classic or not, it's rare and probably only 1 left in Singapore.

 

And in 3 years, it'll be a classic, at least that's what LTA thinks. [laugh]

Very rare car.... [thumbsup] Very well maintain. [thumbsup] Kept and maintain for so long liao don't know why want to sell [shakehead] think maybe need money or find it too leh che to maintain, afterall, old peugeot parts, not easy to get.. maybe can't even get here [:p][gossip]

 

Usu people got $$$ than can afford to keep such cars.. [whip]
