Satinepink Neutral Newbie February 27, 2007 Share February 27, 2007 Bigger slotted/drilled rotors are best coupled with bigger calipers as well. more surface area in contact translated to more stopping power. Mine are slotted front and back, front calipers are bigger than stock.
Chickenbackside 1st Gear February 27, 2007 Share February 27, 2007 Yeah, tell me about it. Mine squeals like a pig, especially after a track day. At first feel very embarrassed, now, don't care already...

Sti2vti Neutral Newbie March 4, 2007 Share March 4, 2007 Any bros knows where to get the slotted rotors like Brembos? Txs!
EventH 1st Gear March 4, 2007 Share March 4, 2007 In SG the stock toyota rotors cost more than the brembo sports slot/drilled rotors in US. I think he was comparing the price of the plain stock replacement brembo rotors vs the brembo sport slot rotors. I believe the material used is different. http://sgeastsiders.16.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=
Trent892 Neutral Newbie March 11, 2007 Share March 11, 2007 Agreed, slotted seems to to be more stable in the long run. i'm running Project Miu.
Trent892 Neutral Newbie March 11, 2007 Share March 11, 2007 Think if you're using performance street pads.... they tend to squeal..... Depends on the temperature rating of the brake pad actually. my Mintex M1155 did't make that much sound, nor did my Endless CCX. but the Project Miu is loud, esp when cold! ↡ Advertisement
