BoneStock 5th Gear February 25, 2007 Author Share February 25, 2007 The van was going straight...totally no intention of making a turn. From the damage done to my car it should be quite obvious. If the van was turning there should be just some scratches or minor dents instead of such a huge depression my my ride ↡ Advertisement
macrosszero Turbocharged February 25, 2007 Share February 25, 2007 You don't get what I was saying. I'm not saying he *wanted* to turn left. Its clear he knew he was wrong because he ran away. What I was saying was, if he stayed around and everyone logged their statements, he could claim that you turned into him while he was turning and counter claim you for damages. Bottom line is, I do not think it is a clear cut case. Side collisions rarely are, unlike nose to tail collisions where the driver at the back is almost always found at fault. BoneStock 5th Gear February 25, 2007 Author Share February 25, 2007 I understood what you said that a side-swipe accident is not a clear cut case. Me also replied to bro Porche on that earlier....so I was agreeing with you. I was just reiterating that from the damages on my car, it is quite obvious to experts that the van wasn't turning at all....apologies if there was any misunderstanding. Malie Neutral Newbie February 25, 2007 Share February 25, 2007 being a eurovanner myself, i swear what u saw is just a minority. just like any other makes.. I hope you see another side of the picture..coming from vanner himself. eurovans are cheaper no doubt, try their servicing and parts. crashing the eurovan and repairing it is damn expensive. in fact most people in eurovanclub are matured people with families. Speeding is the last thing they will do. to the threadstarter, i will keep a look out for you. Light Blue Citroen/Combo woman driver. Just to clarify isit light blue as in Sky Blue? if it is chances are it is a combo. if its a darker shade..its a citroen/peugeot :) cheers. keep me updated.. W2wwong Neutral Newbie February 25, 2007 Share February 25, 2007 dunno, but i heard that u can complain whiplash and neck pain, demand hospital treatment and such, these will warrant some 'injury', thus mata must be involved.. thanks for the advice bro, but I already informed police that there was no injury to me and my passengers. but I did tell the police that I couldn't verify if there was injury to the other party. I believe you can also lodge another report if there's injury within a number of days. Best is to do an x-ray for your kid, in case there're any internal injuries (touch wood). did you put your wife down as witness?
BoneStock 5th Gear February 25, 2007 Author Share February 25, 2007 It is more in the darker shade. me also posted in euro van club that I think it is more likely to be a Citroen. thanks very much for your help bro
BoneStock 5th Gear February 25, 2007 Author Share February 25, 2007 oic, we will monitor the health of my kid closely. I did tell the police that my wife and kid were in the car too but they did not ask for their particulars. Just said that no need to report cos there was no injury. macrosszero Turbocharged February 25, 2007 Share February 25, 2007 (edited) Yes, I fully understand where you are coming from, those bengs are definitely in the minority. It is just that they are so loud and noticeably partly due to them crying out for attention, we notice them more. I'm sure you know of a few yourself being from the Eurovanclub. So I'm not condemning anyone who drives a Berlingo, Kangoo, Combi or whatever, just those who don't drive responsibly, just like I don't support the wholesale condemnation of every taxi on the road which seems to be the general sentiment here. W2wwong Neutral Newbie February 25, 2007 Share February 25, 2007 continue combing the area. there are many HDB blocks around there, I'm sure your effort will pay off. ask the condo security guards too.
