Hmm.. So most people are quite happy wth philips bulb lor? Seem to last quite long on average..

Vision Plus is slightly brighter than my normal bulb. I think the life got something to do with installation process, meaning hands should not touch the glass portion of the bulb. I used a kitchen towel (big piece of tissue paper) to assist in installation.

Ya. Like what bro Octopus said, the installation plays a part on how long it lasts & doesn't mean the shop guy do it will b best. Some of them either don't know or don't care.

Also make sure they give u a sealed pack cos if it was a "returned" pair, the bulb might have been mishandled b4 they sold it to you. That cud b why some of their bulbs only last a short time. [sly]

And if u do happen to get the glass dirty, u have to clean it with methylated spirit to remove any dirt or oil.

Thanks for all your info.. =) I installed mine not touching the bulb, but I remember the bulb once hit the housing of the headlamps very slightly, wonder does this affect? [confused]

Correct me if I'm wrong but for diamond vision it is not lta approve but for Crystalvision and Visionplus they are. [;)]

From what I knew, they are all street legal, except for the Rally version.

Had Diamond Plus before but it wasn't that bright, so changed it to Crystal Vision. After 1.5 years, they're still working fine. [;)]

Diamond Vision not LTA compliant? I was told by the Philips salesman that it was legal, and I was at a TP road block at night along Mandai Road once, there were some flashy cars parked alongside, but the TP just waved me off. [nod]

AS long as the glass part don't touch any oil or dirt, it's OK. If it does get contaminated, u need to clean it off with some methylated spirit.
