Are you driving the auto or manual model?

 

I hear that Axio does not have the tachometer, and I wonder if this is the case for manual transmission Axio? It would be rather difficult to drive a manual w/o tachometer....

Would appreciate if you could recommend your PI, I've visited both Carmax and Hua Yang where I find the price still on a higher side. However, would make up my mind by this weekend and hopefully would be driving 1 soon.

2 turn-offs for me is the "no tach" and "rear drum brakes". otherwise, better looking car than the altis, not to mention nicer quality interior.

 

assuming new vios is the belta based car, it is no longer sporty looking. looks fat juz like the hipporolla. axio looks better or at least from what i can see.

After take a close look on Axio, found it don't come with rpm meter. like somethings missing some where. Happen that there is a corolla fielder beside Axio, it look better and have a better spec too.

Axio 1.5X do not have tachometer but it

comes with Jap-fitted Reverse Camera and

ALL-Auto Power windows with Night illumination

on Drivers Side.

Other added features like:

Tilt and Reach Steering Colmun.

Power Mirrors with Power Folding features.

Integrated Remote Lock/Unlock Ignition key.

Rear Isofix Child seat Anhcors.

All these added features have somehow cover

the lack of Tachometer.

 

And yes, the Fielder comes with Tachometer.

G model have electronic Aircon control

with Dual Climate control.

There is also a F/C counter below the Tachometer.

 

Other then Keyless control, there is also

Silver accent on the Door handles and Centre

facia.

Not forgetting the Rear centre Armrest too.

 

Think all these added features have accounted for

the premium 6K.

yea..i got this 2 turned off too....well for me most impt is tach la..if no tacho like driving taxi like that...for me rear drum or disk brakes dun really matter...

 

yup..heard the current vios will be stopping this march...

yup..tatz the 1.5X...the one with tacho and all is the 1.5G...where i guess the fielder's spec is the axio 1.5G...well the fielder looks cool too...great for those ICE fantic...lotsa space for boom boom!! haha!!

Not really..... If manual transmission does not have a tachometer, how to drive efficiently? I'm not skillful to shift gears by listening to the engine sound alone....

Trust me, the AXIO is a gd choice

 

Buttery smooth transmission, relatively strong and the interior with the Japanese Stock Camera is definitely worth the 15oo extra.

 

The interior is also spacious and looks v classy and executive.

 

Lots of ppl keep looking at my ride too whenever i park, traffic light etc...

 

The exterior can also be 'zhng' for that sporty look

 

Can recommend you my PI if you int. He cocked up a lot of stuff for me but at least i learnt a lot from the situation and what to look out for for my next purchase. If you want a gd reasonable price after you compare prices ard, i'm sure he will give it to you if it can be done once you mention my name

 

What's most impt is you like the car man, no pt. asking ppl for their opinion because this is a v new car so not much ppl have literally 'tested' it. IMO, you must like it especially if you decide to drive it for 10 yrs(me too), and i chose it because it fits my family 's needs.

 

Also, AXIO is not a JDM. It might be modified for the european mkt. Last but not least, if BM were to bring in the AXIO now, how are they gonna sell the altis? They gonna lose their pants off

 

And if you wanna wait for BM to bring in, are you sure the BM service is worth waiting for?

 

Price wise, don't be swayed because of price. Another shop might offer 2k cheaper but it may be Non guaranteed 6 bid COE compared to Guaranteed 2 bid guarantee. Take note of the bid amt too, it's quite complicated but the knowledge is to your advantage. Also the camera can be a local set compared to the original which is more ex because of the excise duties :)

Ya, most of the PI offer leather seat and 14" rims as standard.

Rear wheel brakes are drum brakes and the Menu for the factory OEM touchscreen radio is in Japanese. If you don't get the Type G. There's no auto climate control just analog dials. No Steering mounted radio controls either.

I'm not seen any PI bring in the G model yet. Any brother know, please share. But the corolla fielder are in at some of the PI show room. Any brother here had own the wagon fielder. How is the FC?
