Redstorm 1st Gear February 28, 2007 Share February 28, 2007 (edited) SIMON ROAD http://202.172.178.226/DJVUServer/getImage.jsp?file=/picas_data/tn_pcd/19980005081-8073-3222-4817/img0100.jpg here has one of the best hokkien mee I like http://202.172.178.226/DJVUServer/getImage.jsp?file=/picas_data/tn_pcd/19980006535-8105-3181-0386/img0049.jpg The hokkien mee there is nothing to crow about. The stall, Nam Sing, inside the Simon Rd market (long demolished) is very much better. Nam Sing, now at Old Airport Rd hawker centre, together with the one at the basement of Beach Rd hawker centre (building selling army products) were rated the best two in Singapore by a panel of New Paper food journalists a few years back. The market in the second picture was the Lim Tua Tow Rd market which was demolished years ago. Edited February 28, 2007 by Redstorm

At the junction (see "Pilot" advert) is the junction of New Market Rd on the left and South Canal Rd on the right.
