lousy Shell, last time I get $1 smart dollor for every $30. Now with the 3% rebate, the $30 is only giving me $0.90

 

Also, remember that the Shell point is 1 point for every 1 litre petrol vs some co like caltex who give 1 point for every dollar spend.

 

Also, I just realised that now you need 700 (previously I recall is 600)points to exchange for $20 dollar petrol and 1350 (previously I recall is 1000) points for $40 petrol.

 

yeah. i used shell for nearly ten years. now switched to SPC

lousy reward system ! 700 bloody points to get $20 ! those fat and rich Shell/Esso/caltex bigwigs get 6-12 month bonuses thanks to the inflated petrol prices.

 

SPC gives you 3% discount when u use DBS credit card. the 3% is not rebate but directly off the price of the petrol. together with my existing 13% discount, that's 16% !

real discount, real savings. but good luck to those who want the lucky draw prize

its similar to the one wheels mag gave in nov, just that its smaller.. 4-5 (cant rem e number) coupons per sheet. she dun wanna give me more though..

 

small print is that can't use together with thanks card.. but doesn't matter to me.. discount is more impt..

your petrol rebate for Jan would only appear in March bill eg suppose your petrol is $50 paid with citibank credit card in Jan you would see this reflected in your Feb bill. The rebate of $1.50 (based on 3%) would only appear in your Mar bill

I got a few $3 discount vouchers today when i pumped at caltex. valid till feb 28 only.

So far haven't recieved a check from them for those 5% petrol rebates i should be getting.

It seems i must hit over $50 for them to send me the cheque.

Tried the citibank webby but could not find a page to tell me how much i stored for rebate.

$3 voucher and with total 16% discount using hsbc credit card, its so far the best deal right now

and to make fully use of your $3 vouchers, pump either $40 or $80 gross

anyone using the shell personal card with UOB credit card? that the day i tried using my UOB credit card to get the 3% rebate but was told that i cant use it together with the shell personal card, wtf?
