ok, this is how it goes.

 

Yaris/Vitz (hatchback) has a sibling, the sedan version.

 

In Japan, it is known as the Belta (although it is just the sedan version of the Vitz).

 

In the European Market, both the hatchback and the sedan are known as Yaris.

 

In the ASEAN market, the hatchback is known as the Yaris and the sedan version (in our market, from PI -takes the JDM name, Belta)

 

However, Toyota Thailand has decided to base their all new 2007 Vios on the Yaris Sedan and will rebadge it to a Vios.

 

At the end of the day, it is just the same car with different names and place of manufacture.

yes.. it was reported in today a couple of weeks ago.. then my FL 2006 Vios become limited edition.. just like the yesteryear of Toyota Corona of the late 1990s.... those SCQ series Corona...

yup, this is the new vios 2007, its based on the yaris (us market) or belta (japan market)
