Santa Neutral Newbie January 24, 2007 Share January 24, 2007 (edited) 93k seem too pricey for a taxi but heard many good review on the handling of skoda and reliability Edited January 24, 2007 by Santa
Keavze 1st Gear January 24, 2007 Share January 24, 2007 overpriced for a skoda... 90+k i'll rather get the JDM euro R accord! or if conti, stretch abit to get the S40...

If after your test drive & you feel good about the car, go with your heart! Cars are very individual.I like the Superb alot coz it's got lots of rear space & when you have kids & in-laws, most of the time, the complaint would be cramped rear space.Besides, the 1.8T can be easily & cheaply upped for more juice with only a little sacrifice in FC. That's what some of the Passat owners say.

XLR8 1st Gear January 25, 2007 Share January 25, 2007 I dont know bout the rest but for me its around $75-80k region..I dont need such a high OMV. At $93k, you can get many other cars which are equivalent or better. Try marketing a parker pen at mont blanc price...its the same.. cant sell well. Vit4wd 1st Gear January 25, 2007 Share January 25, 2007 Overpriced? It is all about branding and perception. Put a BMW or Mercedes logo on the Superb, and even if it sells for S$150K, people will say it is reasonably priced.

Ajedi72 Neutral Newbie January 25, 2007 Share January 25, 2007 Actually if u looking at conti cars, its a different ball game altogether ... for the pedigree you are paying for despite being dated its still good value ... but like I said those who compare with JDM and other Korean models would hardly consider it value ... My only concern with CA is of course after sales service which is not too good (I owned a Fabia previously) ... importantly test drive all the models u are considering ... and then if you settle for the Superb try to bargain down the price a little or get the SE to throw more freebies ... Felipe 3rd Gear January 26, 2007 Share January 26, 2007 the mark up for the superb seems rather high. the other cars u mentioned seems better value. the trick is, get a used one next time if u really must have a superb
Schneider79 Clutched January 26, 2007 Share January 26, 2007 10k more for a PI golf GTI or same price tag for an Euro R. Skoda's resale value is terrible. ↡ Advertisement
