Kangadrool Supersonic March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 you will know the answer when your car is stuck in the rut. OK, if I have no issue with 2wd even in wet condition, then no need to consider 4wd if I am not going off road. ↡ Advertisement
Mr_biscuit 3rd Gear March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 (edited) Having owned a Subaru for 3.5 years previously, definitely miss the awesome handling of a AWD car. Compared to my other FWD cars, I'm able to stretch the limits of the car when negotiating a tight bend at a faster speed. FC is the least concern for a driver who appreciate AWD. AWD is true 4 wheel traction. 4WD is a gimmick. Subaru makes the best AWD that prove that in situation where you need to call for your God or Tua Pek Kong, before he pull you back from hell, your AWD will had already split seconds applied the necessary traction control on all four wheels and pull you out of danger. Not say singapore road no use for AWD, but having driven AWD .. Car feels so well planted even with cheap tyres. Car wont spin out when you turn and brake fast and hard, car wont skid when you hit a patch of sand or water middle or the corner. Those who never drove AWD from subaru will never be able to argue about this.. Because they never driven a Subaru AWD hard enough to let it pull you out of a danger situation. ↡ Advertisement
