Going to KL any hotel have carpark for guest?

Driving first time to KL, do the hotel have own carpark or we have to park at public/roadside carpark?

If you are driving up, just let them know you drove, parking will be provided for you.

The 4/5 star hotels will have car parks.

A few of the cheaper 2/3 star hotels may not have proper car parks.

 

Best to ask. Some of the newer hotels do not have their own car park - a bit like the Marina Sq hotels, they are part of a larger commercial office/shopping complex.

 

Best to let us know what price range of hotel you are looking at.

One thing to note. Having a Hotel parking lot does not mean Ur car will not be stolen. U still need to exercise caution and common sense when parking Ur car there.

i drove up twice and stayed in 2 different hotels

 

you can check out allson genesis ( small carpark but at its own basement )

 

capitol ( park at plaza low yat )

 

both hotels are at the bkt bintang area

 

no issues at all for both but brought steering wheel lock and gear lock, ha!

most impt, make sure it is not a basement carpark. yup, avoid at all cost. even if it means they pay you to use the basement carpark, also duwan.

Sheraton, Istana, Regent, Westin, etc all have their own carpark. They are either free or chraged @ a flat rate per day/entry.

Cititel Hotel at Mid Valley Shopping Mall is good location and car park is huge... i think they have at least 2000+ parking lots.

 

Just park there and take cab wherever you go within KL. more convenient and less time wasted on looking for roads/carpark.

 

Another place is Sunway Lagoon, but a bit far off KL town centre.

Most hotels would give free parking unless you stay at those cheap hotels less than RM100. Most hotels also throw in buffet breakfast for two.

most important thing is to PARK HEAD IN if you don't want your car to be towed and stolen. That's the most important advise I'd give to anyone going up to JB or KL or anywhere up north.

Try Crown Plaza. Hilton has it as well (Singapore Farlali and Maserati club went up there once... I saw them )

 

And no its quite safe to park in the carparks belonging to better hotels. I parked a 735i there and no problems whatsoever

The more reputable hotel's carparks are ok. Most have security gaurd doing the round and taking down the reg. plate of the cars there. There are also CCTV and brightly lit.

Park head in only if your car is front wheel drive. If it's a rear wheel drive, it should park reverse in.

Your choice of hotel will need to take into account traffic jams etc.

anyway, to TS, most 3/4* hotels should have carpark. i usually park at the Novotel, last time known as Century hotel.
