I'm on the final leg of my studies here in aust and even though i can stay, I've decided on coming back home. Over the next year(since they're not exactly very cheap), im planning on amassing a really good set of tools, but for some more expensive items i'm wondering if i should buy it in sg or here in aust.

 

My main concern is a torque wrench. How much are they in singapore, and what brands are supported as these need to be calibrated (I'm looking at either snap-on, kinchrome or sidchrome).

 

Next would be a compression tester.

 

The last is an electric rattle gun. How much are these in sg as they're abt $1.2k here in melb.

 

Two minor bits that would be good to have in sg but arent essential would be a small dremmel rotary tool, and an angle grinder.

 

Any advice on if i should get these in sg or aust?
