Streak Marks

My friend passed me his car to use while he is currently overseas.

 

I sent it to a "hand wash" car wash today after the downpout, and discovered streaks on the paintwork.

 

Some parts of the car are whiter than other parts.

 

I suspect it is due to the harsh and strong shampoo which has eaten into the paint.

 

How can I remove those streak marks? Tried polishing but the marks are still there.

wow, big picture... which are the marks ? i see white lines, but no idea if it's reflection or marks.

 

anyway, it's might be also possible that your friend have done a re-spray in a workshop which is not up to standard.

Those vertical straight lines on the right are the streak marks.

maybe the marks are there before you borrow the ride ?

Hello, have you tried using any cleaners like AIO onto that area?

 

Maybe you have not noticed them when you took over the car until the car wash??
