Question on spacer, OZ and Rays

Hi all,

I have got a few questions for the SME peeps here.

1) Does OZ Ultraleggaras come in 7J for 17"?

2) Are there any detrimental effects on the use of spacers? What are the indications to use spacers? Any further information is also dearly appreciated.

3) Finally, a bit of moot point here but I have just bought Rays United Arrow rims and Goodyear Revspec RS-02 to go with it. Any brothers or sisters got any comments or advice on it?

Thanks!

Spacers cause the wheel bearings to be under more stress when going straight. Will increase torque steer and steering kickback, but not significantly.

I am using oz ultraleggra 17 inch. But not sure mine is 7J or 7.5J.

I cannot use anymore spacer or else my outer wheel arch will hit the wheel already.

Now is just nice sitting inside the wheel arch.

Mine is an aveo hatch by the way.

Thanks for your input. I have been told that UL only comes in 8J. Did you place a special order for it? Any problems with the tires rubbing the inside of the wheel arch?

Rays United Arrow rim is heavy [sweatdrop] regardless of size compare to other Rays models eg. CE-28, TE-37, etc... but since you've bought it then just bear the FC

Perhaps but I still be better off than my original rims wouldn't I? Anyway for the record, the FC has been very tolerable, hovering around 11-12km/l.
