Garlic 1st Gear April 2, 2007 Author Share April 2, 2007 Some updates, was told by Mr. Loo that many Simota users are using K&N's cleaning kit as its cheaper. The blue dye will be washed away and the filter will look like a K&N cotton mesh. I looked into the sun with a K&N and Apexi, the pores of the K&N are bigger as compared to Apexi, the Apexi ones are very close to each other and spread pattern is very consistent. Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 2, 2007 Share April 2, 2007 K&N filters are supposed to be designed that as its being used, it filters more but with no restriction of the airflow till it gets really dirty.

Oriki Neutral Newbie May 4, 2007 Share May 4, 2007 U can try Fong Kim, I did asked abt K&N drop in filter recently for altis. ard $90 I think. McWell is around $115 I heard, with free cleaning of the filter. Speedworks no stock. Think Kam Auto also no stock. (I'm referring to altis, not sure if your corolla using the same filter model)
