Consequences of Oversized Rims

My friend bought a 2005 Honda CRV with 25,000km mileage 3 mths ago.

 

The car came with 235/50R18 rims.

 

Consequences:

 

1. Tyres have rubbed rear wheel arch when going over bumpy roads with full load.

2. His shocks are leaking and need replacement.

 

He is now looking for the orig rims and wants to fit the orig tyres.

 

Is the orig rim size 205/70R15?

 

Where can he get the orig Honda rims for CRV? 2nd hand ones are fine.

Bro, are the rear lights of the CRV transparent or the red ones?

 

If it's the transparent ones then it should be the face lifted CRV which i am driving and it comes with original 16 inch rims.

 

As for the red ones, it comes originally with 15 rims.

 

Best is if your friend can register at Hondasuv.com, go under the singapore section where i am sure some of the bros there will reccommend where to get original rims with tyres...or if he is lucky, some of them might even be selling their rims.
