on Friday night, in a Public carpark at Tan Quee Lane (bugis) which is full of cars, i arrived later than this CAR A. I am CAR B. This Car Coming out of the Lot is CAR C. i am nearest to the Lot. I shifted in front abit to let CAR C come out, then i reversed into the Lot. After i am Done, CAR A wind down his Window, Use Hand Sign Say something which i can't hear. To Avoid confliction, i just start & drove off, let him have the lot.

 

i managed to find another lot luckily, after i am done, the CAR A still not even parked finished.

 

to me is who nearest to the Lot, gets the Lot. And somemore he is on the Opposite side.

 

well, it doesn't matter.

I think you did the right thing in letting him have the lot since he is obviously expressing his displeasure with you. Who knows, he could have done something to your car. Think back to the recent case of a cabby at Maxwell Hawker.

for me.. i c which side that bugger is on.. if Car A is on ur side of the road, i let him have the lot.. in this case, i presume he is waiting for the lots on the other side..

good thing you did there...if i am in car A and i have no chance of reaching the lot...i'd just accept it amd wait on...no point winding down window and all...

 

i voted nearest to the lot cos it makes sense. real life is not fair as much as we wish it to be.

the idealist in me would vote for 1st come 1st serve...but the realist in me voted for nearest to the lot...

if two cars are equally close,then have to use "first come first serve" basis.

in this case,if iam CAR A and if i arrived earlier than you(CAR B),i will also take the lot.

what i will do is while the car had yet to moved out,i will monouvre my car to the left side of the car coming out.

then when the car turn right,at the same time,i move with the car and this can actually prevent you(CAR B) from reversing.

in this case,i will determine who comes first.

normally if i wait for lot,i will not wait at a place near other cars who are waiting.at least 7-8 lots away to be fair.
