Dumb 4th Gear December 23, 2006 Share December 23, 2006 (edited) Just came back from New South Wales after driving around for 8 days covering 2,700km. Noted that from pump to pump, prices can vary considerably by more than A$0.10. But the most surprising discovery is that the diesel prices are higher than unleaded petrol and there is such thing as gas at half of diesel prices. Wonder what is the gas? The average premium petrol price is about A$1.20. Never drive in Sydney centre. Parking is very expensive and hotels don't provide free parking. Overnight parking can be A$16 and hourly parking can be as high as A$8 per hour. Driving in the city is also an agony as streets are short with traffic lights. Dumb 4th Gear December 23, 2006 Author Share December 23, 2006 There was no bucket in the resort. So I emptied the the little refuse bin from the kitchen to use as bucket. I had no cloth and I can't sacrifice my towel. You are rite, I sacrificed one of my xxxxx. But I realised later that I forgot to remove it from the side pocket when I returned the car!!! Dirty, then dirty lah. Its a rental car. Even the rental companies don't bother too much with washing them, they focus on the cleanliness of the interior.
