saw the Materia at Sembawang Shopping centre STS roadshow this evening. Love the car at first sight.

The back row seat have lot of leg room for passenger.

But the specifcation said minimum turning circle is 9.8m. Is that refering to minimum turning radius?

Test driven e auto today. Not impressive. Maybe becos i'm not used to it.

Pick up so so. Accerlate so so.

Interior plastic jus average... doens feel like 1st grade plastic.

 

Exterior still as beautiful thou. Think tat price may come down further.

 

And its different from Toyota BB. the interior illluminating lights r pretty useless. They do not beat according to the music. Sad thou... On the Jap website of BB, it said it will.

 

No leather seat is another minus point. One must add another 500 for lower grade leather n 800 for higher grade leather. Hope SE can throw in tat leather seat.

 

The exterior is definitely mush better than the interior... Thats my view..

The Materia is lighter in weight than most other Jap cars in its class like the Sunny, Latio, Altis, Lancer, APV, Mazda 3 etc.... its kerb weight is only 1070kg if I remember correctly

 

Pick up shd not be too bad.
