Woodlands and Tuas Weekend Jams 2006

OK, anybody been through the JB and Tuas checkpoints either direction in the last 2-3 weekends, please put down your experiences here (how long each side took etc). Weekdays also can.

Just went through Tuas on Dec7&8. Very smooth. Went out on Dec 7 morning & back in on Dec 8 evening.

 

No jam.

Went in n out on 10th morning no jam, super clear.

 

 

 

Cos its 5am on a Sunday morning.

Yesterday nite,i jammed for 2 and 1/2 hrs at malaysia side before the custom...the pile up all the way back to the road even before the caltex.... heavy rain some more....after malaysia custom...beri smooth...

Siong 2.5 hours !!

And it was not even a weekend!!

 

 

 

All, Keep the posts coming - most of us know about the traffic cameras but we don't have time to monitor every day. Also, cannot tell how bad the jam is on the Malaysian side esp JB

OK I did the trip and returned on the 24th (Sunday) arriving at about 2pm at the 2nd link checkpoints.

 

No jam at all at either side at 2nd Link. Took 2 mins to clear each side!!

 

Looks like the Dec 2005 weekend jams are not happening this year. I just checked the onemotoring site and it still looks clear now (25th evening at 9pm)!!!
