Landex Clutched December 14, 2006 Share December 14, 2006 My fren is keen on getting the Nissan Sunny VIP. As per topic, any owners of this ride out there? Care to share if the parts are the same as the normal Sunny? If not, are the parts of the Sunny VIP easily avilable? Any info on the FC? Tks very much in advance! ↡ Advertisement

Alpha78 6th Gear December 14, 2006 Share December 14, 2006 Sunny VIP is actually the JDM version of Sunny. Introduced around 1998 or 1999 as a gap filler between the N16 and its predecessor. Which means, all suffer from the high COE of that time, so odds are most have been scrapped. Back then when my dad test drove the Sunny VIP, one comment was the gear stick (auto) is very close to the central console. No idea of what parts it shares with Sunny. Car_guru Neutral Newbie December 15, 2006 Share December 15, 2006 The VIP shares most parts with the SUnny, so no worries about parts.. maintenance is cheap and it is a very reliable car... if you want, buy the 2001 and above SS model which comes with the tachometer.. the earlier EX models no tacho.. but doubt the EX are still around since owners will scrap it due to the high COE that time.. FC is around 12 km/l to 13 km/l for Auto.. manual should be better.. only complain is that the rear leg space is too cramped... other than that it's a value-for-money car..
