Sleepengine Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 yup, i'm the chevy driver... hmmm... tot i read this in ammpaf.com .... Q - What is the warranty period for Max-Zone? A - 12 months. However, its actual lifespan may be anything from 3-10 years which is the normal attrition period for electronic devices without any moving parts. Thekillerpenguin Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 yeah...thats the modest assestment...this thing is build to last! the warranty period is 1 year FULL warranty - means 1 to 1 exchange if anything breaks down...and the 2nd year is PARTIAL - parts and service. hope that helps! Redbell Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 Hi Teoweeli, I did not approach the group as i did not see anyone from Max zone whom we had corresponded in person b4 and i have tested the product so really did not see the need to approach, since my intention was to say hi to pple from MZ which we know. Shyness is not one of my traits. I do know of your bosses, we spoke in person then. Nice people, sincere and warm. No hard feelings at all, a forum is for sharing. I do not advocate product bashing, nor do i endorse FOC product advertisment. I understand your marketing/sales point of view, understand my role in keeping my forum neat. Merry Christmas. hi fat, but... every1 from mz were there that day! including the boss and mgrs. maybe there were out testing with customers so u dun see them. am glad ppl go and try out this product personally and give their honest review. and not wat initially ppl here tot, some of us are clone, trying to sing praises for own product. Max-Zone guys are friendly, helpful and fun! i had fun there... tho i'm abit troublesome but thanks for your patience!!!! will try to be there during ur nx test drive! Fuzzylogic 2nd Gear December 27, 2006 Share December 27, 2006 Does Maxzone work better on vehicles with an auto tranny or it is just as effective on cars with manual transmission?
Thekillerpenguin Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 hi fuzzylogic, max-zone works just as well for either, with each kind getting distinct but great benefits eg the kickdown time for auto comes in faster, and the gear change becomes smoother for manual. Secondhand Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 I'm really confused... So which is better? Max-Zone or the GT version? From wat i read.. The standard version is good for low rev. Does that mean high rev is useless? and vice versa for GT version? Or I just go for the GT version and heck care the std version? I was thinking of installing the GT version after New Year... So which is better without installing BOTH?
Damnjian Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 Thank you bro.Yes....on S'pore road no need to chiong...IMHO...actually enjoying the slow ride at 80-90km/h
Fatfat Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 why not consider installing both? SOmeone i know installed both for a good price. Talk to the sellers, they shd be able to tempt you with a good price. **Disclaimer, installing both does not mean its better.
Teoweeli Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 (edited) The GT is for cars above 1600cc and above whilst the Standard is for those below 1600cc. Basically the GT version gives more torque and power because it was meant for bigger cc cars. Edited December 28, 2006 by Teoweeli
Dermocyma Neutral Newbie December 28, 2006 Share December 28, 2006 (edited) i m interested to do test on this product for a week. is there such a offer? i will setup my onboard (ob) computer to these parameters - fuel weight is fixed at shell v-power at between 80-95L - car weight is fixed at between 1880kg to 1950kg - rpm at 4000rpm max - speed limiter to 80km/h max for a distance of 10km in each test case consisting of a fixed urban route of 5 traffic junction, 2 u-turns - each cycle of 10km travelling time is fixed between 8-10mins tracked by ob computer is above parameter ok? does anyone see any parameters i should add in above? fuel comsumption is set by default at 6.0km/l, i would like to see if there is any delta in the FC. test cases will run until there is a change in the FC reporting. lets leave dyno (including butt dyno) and those torque/hp aside first.
