Fatfat Neutral Newbie December 11, 2006 Share December 11, 2006 agree. Informative thread turned noisy. Watever promotion for Max-Zone backfired. Pity - i have met in person the marketing team, they behaved in a sincere manner. Dyno-ed results would be nice.
Abba Neutral Newbie December 11, 2006 Share December 11, 2006 Yep, agree. Those deep cycle batt R good. last up to 5 yrs manz
Abba Neutral Newbie December 11, 2006 Share December 11, 2006 I heard them trying to sell to a group during the motorshow that 'fuzzy logic chip' can 'Control' the lamda. Anyone can come up with a Dyno chart, can tweak the parameters to make data look gd; common trick of the trade lah. Connection only to batt, No connection to the ECU nor lamda. That's another fancy looking Pdt with Snake oil claim.
Rustie Neutral Newbie December 11, 2006 Share December 11, 2006 Is this Max-Zone previously come in a green case? If so, I've that installed for almost a year. So far, hasn't encounter any problems . Had it installed in both Lancer CS3 and Nissan March K12.
Teoweeli Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 I beg to differ, if a salesman has 2 cars and tells you one car can move and the other simply will not start, which do you think is the better car? Those siding with max-zone are customers who have benefited from using it and are just sincerely sharing their experiences. Do check the posts and see if they have in any way said anything vile towards EZ-Stab or negative comments about it, they have not used it and have fairly reserved their comments. It is obvious who started the poison vibes in this thread when truly information and testimonials were being shared around regarding max-zone. I have seen upguy's previous posts and he is a proponent of VS technology, and in this case he can be more helpful to this thread by posting the benefits of VS and his personal testimony or the testimony of others, rather than simply just tearing into this thread. If the group buy is not allowed in this forum, just simply make it known to whoever is posting it, is there a need to be prosecuting? Why the need to conduct a witch hunt? It seems that the spirit of sharing in this forum has already been destroyed.
Teoweeli Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 And the test drive is open to those who are skeptical, just try it, there is nothing wrong with saying that. If really "snake oil", then max-zone will be exposed there and then wouldn't it? like what abba said, charts and figures can be doctored, however there's no "covering up" when it comes to trying. Enuff said.
Damnjian Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 I have no idea which of such products out there in the market really work.I just wanna to find out more and maybe to test them out.Everyone is free to express his/her personal views but I think it is not justified to condemn a product when one hasn't even try it out.... Wolffish Clutched December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Hi, I must say i did benefit from Maxzone in terms of savings from petrol and also a more enjoyable ride cos i travel lots on road everyday . Upon calculations, i guess i will get back the cost after a number of full tanks. BTW, i must also agree with bro Upguy1 and Abba and that those deep cycle batts are good (not that i have one installed in my car) but i use them for the boat. I cannot afford a boat engine failure due to batt if i m out in the sea. rgrds
Damnjian Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Hi Bro, Thanks for your comments. These positive comments are good for pple who would like to find out more from others who have experienced the product.Similarly,it will be good if someone who have experienced it and find it not worth the investment to share with the others here in the forum ....but maybe the best way is to go test run yourself... Wolffish Clutched December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Hi No probs. Actually i would also like to see other feedbacks and comments. Fatfat Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 i have tested it. SNake oil or not - its best the people who are interested in test it in their car. PErhaps it works better on some models than others. I have praise for the marketing team - they offered me a week-long trial for their product, even though we have only met for barely an hour. Dunno if such offers are still avail now, since the product has picked up substantially as proven in these postings. We even did checks on the company paid-up capital then, having being skeptical about another new gadget in the market that claims these and that. For the record, i did not install Max-zone. But likely i will turn up this sat,to show support to the marketing team and say hi, my schedule is looking good as of now.
Damnjian Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Care to share why you did not install the Max-Zone?Probably,like what you said,it works better on some models than others...

Sony 1st Gear December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 If the group buy is not allowed in this forum, just simply make it known to whoever is posting it, is there a need to be prosecuting? Why the need to conduct a witch hunt? It seems that the spirit of sharing in this forum has already been destroyed. No one is prosecuting or conducting a witch hunt. It seems like you are over-reacting. As to no GB or selling of commercial product unless you are the forum sponsor, it's written in the T & C. Anyway, beside the GB and selling, personnally, I do welcome clarification from product related people like you. I'm actually keen and have been in talk with a friend of mine to let me try it tomorrow. Maybe you can help to answer my question. Can it be use together with Ez-stab or other VS or I need to remove them.
Thekillerpenguin Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 tks for the clarification sony! actually i've been grilled worse (remember peugeout forum FATFAT? lol). Its common to encounter ppl who have differing views, who are adamant about certain products. I always adopt a 'everyone's entitled to their viewpoints' stand. Of course, not everyone may take that stand. Thats how religious wars start lol. If everyone can keep an open mind, be open to change/technology/new ideas, the world would be a much more peaceful place IMHO. for those who do not believe maxzone is able to achieve such results, no amount of dynos, lambda reports or testing will ever convince them. Lets just agree to disagree. Let this thread resume its course ie. feedback for maxzone users. Post constructive questions and we'll try our best to answer them. Have a great day yall! Damnjian Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 May I ask 3 questions? 1. How will MZ benefit new cars ie with new batteries? 2. Any problems installing it together with ez-stab? 3. Is the MZ Standard good enough for smaller (<1.5L) cars or do smaller cars need GT? Thanks
