m using Maxzone 12V standard in my car. had it for 3 months.

mine is maintenance free battery, 1.5 yrs old, last recorded CCA in Nov = 630, 12.7V.

Some gain in power especially can feel during start-off, pickup, overtaking.

Less vibration, mine used to vibrate alot, especially at idle, now improve alot.

Mileage up around 40 - 50Km per tank.

My car:

Mazda 323 Auto, 130000km, Stock setup with VS & SAFC2 & Maxzone.

yes correct, u also use? another of my friend got it for his lancer, his battery was almost dying at CCA 205, after using it for 3 weeks, now his CCA is 300, and the battery condition improved according to the battery testor (hand held type). His battery is coming to 2 years liao, we waiting to see how long this maxzone can really prolong the battery lifespan.

Bad point i still dunno, only few months using it. But it defintely didn't cause any damage to my car, my feel is if i can prolong the battery life and at the same time get some cheap-thrill-type of improvement in performance, i'll earn it back in a few years time, so why not... :)

its a battery desulphator...

supposed to prolong battery life..

$188 for a desulphator is expensive IMHO... [sweatdrop] ..(might as well get another brand new battery [laugh] )

i am using a desulphator that costs about $50 ... got it from ebay..malaysian guy selling...so far so good [thumbsup] ...search for product called sulfarid

you can also purchase desulphators online ...google for power pulse ...selling for about $70 + sing dollars

ez-stab is a voltage stabiliser..... there are 2 camps of thought for these product...one thinks that it is snake oil..ther other thinks its not..

max zone is a battery desulphator...... like all desulphators...it helps prolong battery life by reducing the formation of PBSO4..which degrades lead acid batteries....

read about desulphators in the net.. it is widely used in the marine automotives....u want to have a good set of battery while you are out at sea and not get strandedf with a dead engine in the middle of the pacific ocean [sweatdrop][rolleyes][sweatdrop]

That's rite, maxzone is not a voltage stabilizer, i've got a VS setup as well. So for me, maxzone is suppose to prolong the battery life with the de-sulphation function, improve abit of performance with the microprocessor, and the VS helps to stabilise the voltage distribution.

u can also go to http://www.maxzonepower.com

That's the product website

cheers

Hi,

I have the GT version in my car.

Verdict after 3 months of usage, engine more stable, no vibrations, rpm dropped and FC n pick-up improved. Think there is a 1 page write up about it in some mag (but forgot which one)

Agreed that Max Zone cost abit but IMHO two long term benefits, prolong batt life and get back $$ from the petrol $$ you saved. [:)] .
