Nine_eleven 2nd Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 $2 company PI is just one of many reasons not to buy from PI. wah lau, whats more, the Swift is only $1k cheaper than the AD model, and it's only a 1.3l car, compared to a AD 1.5l!! bad deal from the start. Galantspeedz Turbocharged November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 its not we have no rules. the people in L*A only bother to cover their backside and nothing else. Speaking to a piece of wood get more response then speaking to them. if u deal with them often enough... i am sure u will get high blood pressure sooner or later
Ahbengdriver 6th Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 (edited) I already dealt with them few times n their kind of replies is like retarded patients replies. They are super good at giving open ended answers which doesnt answer yr questions. All they know is come in at 9am, lunch at 12pm, go home at 5pm. No farking inititiative and dead-wood materials Edited November 30, 2006 by Ahbengdriver
Ghostrider 3rd Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 From a legal point of view...is it possible ? A buys cars from XXX Pte Ltd. XXX Pte Ltd buys cars from YYY Pte Ltd So A owes XXX Pte Ltd and XXX Pte Ltd owes YYY Pte Ltd Deals was done seperately...so A does not owe YYY anything as there is no sales contract with them. So like dat if say you buy a condo from developer....and developer owes the contractor money. Does it means that the contractor can repo your house ? Does not make any sense... Galantspeedz Turbocharged November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 u forgot their teabreak at 10am and 3pm. try calling them after 4pm and most likely the CSO will say they cant get the officer and will only get back to u the next day. Makes me wonder they work till 4pm or 5pm

Alanpong Neutral Newbie November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 There is another case in "My Paper" headline today. A chinese guy bought a Toyota Rush from a PI 3 weeks ago & the car was being repossess by a Finance Co. Apparently, the PI still own the Finance Co and is now MIA. Poor guy, now he still need to service his loan from UOB and cannot use his car... Think i will never buy from PI. so scary
Ahbengdriver 6th Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 can we list the names of these PIs here pls to warn the rest?
Spiderman 1st Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 Maybe now all the AD now laughing and celebrating... But buying a car from $2 company... Hmmmm... A new lesson for all buyers, but just feeling sorry that we learn it off the misfortune of someone else. From now one, I think all the "legitimate" PIs must hang their ROC printout on the wall. Nine_eleven 2nd Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 well, put it this way, you're going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a new car, and you choose to save $1,000 and risk your car being sourced from one shady dealer to another? penny wise, pound foolish. Falc 3rd Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 They bought from Bellcar which is NOT stated as a $2 company. But Bellcar bought the car from CarZone to sell to consumer and Car Zone is $2 company. I think there's no case for the repossess by Kenso since COE and LTA records show the consumer as the owner and UOB as the financer. Just bl@@dy sianz to have gone thru this kind of ordeal. Falc 3rd Gear November 30, 2006 Share November 30, 2006 (edited) Is there a clear way to find out if the dealer is it's own importer or a "reseller"? Bellcar seems quite reputable, at least not the 6-in-1 company but still this kind sh:t happens.
