Geogeo Neutral Newbie November 27, 2006 Share November 27, 2006 (edited) Any bro here having good experience with Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell? I intend to use it once weekly or at least bi-weekly. Currently using sealant. Pain in the pocket. Shine is not priority but both durability & protection is a must. Once every 2 months, I'll be doing mild polish & sealant. Wax is just addition protection before sealant wears out. Edited November 27, 2006 by Geogeo ↡ Advertisement

Geogeo Neutral Newbie November 27, 2006 Author Share November 27, 2006 I'm currectly on AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection. Not easy to bluff off too. Psychologically, not easy to buff off may not be easy to wear off . Therefore, I don't mind the affect as long as it wears on long enough before next wear on. Like what I have mentioned earlier on, gloss/shine not priority.
Nutty 4th Gear November 27, 2006 Share November 27, 2006 By the way, the price listed at Caltex station is before or after 20%? I saw the Turtle Wax Tyre Spray selling at $7. If still got 20% discount, that will be $5.80. Freaking cheap...

Crazybugger 1st Gear November 27, 2006 Share November 27, 2006 this stuff leaves behind a heck of a lot of powder residue when buffing off shine is ok . but it won't last very long but if you doing weekly wax then it should be sufficient.
Abba Neutral Newbie November 27, 2006 Share November 27, 2006 yep, agree. I used Turtle Wax b4, had to literally 'scrape' of the wax and not buff off. hahaha

Crazybugger 1st Gear November 28, 2006 Share November 28, 2006 Any idea how is turtlewax platinum? it costs almost twice as much and definitely looks better due to its carnuba content but does it last twice as long? any idea how does turtlewax platinum compare to soft99 authentic? ... i think both cost are quite similar? Gubby Neutral Newbie November 28, 2006 Share November 28, 2006 Turtle Wax Platinum. Easy on easy off. Very minimum effort to remove the wax. Shine not bad, but i find it not very lasting. You can buy a small bottle to try it out. Around $4.80.
