should have this for disable lots, qualified cars have a sensor tag issued by the disable association. can stop those mentally handicapped from abusing the lot [laugh]

i reasoned that their justification for parking on such lots is because they are mentally handicapped, thus they are excused. If tio summon, can use that as reason to appeal

They should introduce this in SG. Yesterday evening around 7:00pm, before the bus lane timing was over, I was trying to turn to the Kallang Bahru area from the Kallang MRT junction. The bus lane extends to almost near the junction itself, so I waited in the next lane until I was clear of the bus lane markings before I turned left.

As there was a long line in front of me due to the heavy Geylang traffic, cars were going into the bus lane to avoid the long queue in order to turn, despite the potential of there being a white color clothed officer being there.

The lane bollards would be a lovely thing to have over there.

Hi CHROMAS, you could send an e-mail to LTA on the above situation as a public feedback. I had wrote such similar situations to them and the Traffic Police. LTA subsequently re-aligned the bus lane nearer to the bus stop so as to provide more space for other road users.

That was my first time using that road after so many years and it was kinda irritating as I don't want to get into the bus lane but at the same time see so many just cut across just for convenience sake.

Yes, I think a feedback to them will be most useful. In writing soon. wink.gif

maybe they can try this for the short portion from bradell to austrlian sch

You probably 4got abt the incident in Tampines over the TPE where a man riding bicycle down a pedestrain bridge and was paralysed thus.

This device in the video is good but sort of a overkill, not unless as a deterent against terrorists. You must remember the cost that goes into the design, fabrication, maitenance and the implementation of it. But nothing can be compared to the damaged to the driver and the fellow passengers.
