Overall dry & wet grip V8RS beats the other 2.

Go check out SLC and Latio club, they also found V8RS beats GR80

used aspec and gr80 before. here's what i experienced:

gr80: very quiet, grip wet and dry, comfy even on uneven roads.

aspec: not as quiet, grip wet, dry ok nia, not as comfy (compared with gr80) over uneven roads.

hope above helps.

Forget abt V8. i almost wanted to try until my friend had an accident due to his tire skidded. and his V8 is less than 2 weeks old!

No comment abt GR80 and Aspec as nvr use before

It was a minor accident on a wet road. he couldn't stop in time and collide with a stationary car in front. he said he wasn't travelling fast, i thk so cos his damage is quite minor. he was very disappointed with the V8 which is barely 2 weeks old.

hi bro

think GR80 is the one to go

as it do have the good mix of the mentioned

qualities. do know quite a number of bros here

using it happily.

however, IMO, tyre choice is really subjective

as u may find initial reviews of, eg. Toyo TR1, to be

very good so on and so forth

but in time u will find other reviews like in SNC*, that

it actually lack grip for normal driving condition. unless

we drift along expressway or carpark! [sweatdrop]

* Singapore Nissan Club

so pick up the tyres that your budget allows and is

relatively new in stock. cos old tyre tend/likely degrade

somewhat over time.

do read its specs which u can find online.. i think it's

impt to drive gently during the scrub-in period to have the

tyre 'warm up' to perform at wat it supposed to after that

so i never drive at '100%' when i get my new set of tyres.

and also why there are sometimes accident involving drivers

with brand new tyres thinking they can do wonders liao

(this i'm not 100% sure but why else there're different

stated scrub-in period for diff tyres) [rolleyes]

good tyres MIGHT give u an edge in extreme condition or sudden

situation. but nothing beats driving with common sense or with

due care. [:p]

cheers [;)]
