just for your justification about Kia.any comments?

There are staunch Kia owners here. Let them shed some light. As for my own rays, well imho i do think the reliability of Kia vehicles are a question. My uncle in Malaysia and my lecturer are experiencing about the same problems mentioned on the website... but less serious. But i dun think Kia shouldn't be so bad after all. Generally, if any one car manufacturer builds cars that are all like this, the company will close down in days. [nod]

Anyway, I got a friend who is working in the Selling cars market, he was telling me that Kia cars are better in the over aspect in Korean Market compared to Hyundai and the only good car from Hyundai are Sonnata & above.

Those lower range like Elantra and Accent if driven more than 2-3 years, really feel like certain parts going to come off anytime and like sitting inside a lorry kind of feeling.

As for Kia, they start off manufacturing Military vehicle in Korean so when they start making passenger cars, they bring over the same concept used in military vehicle over to passenger, that is why their cars are slightly heavy like the Spectra but the body frame structure is thick and it is safe when you met any accident compared to any Japanese cars out there!

Anyway, above are the comments by him and some other people driving Hyundai cars so I feel at least safe to drive my Spectra around as I am not those "Thiong" type of drivers!

It would be unfair to say that Kia is better than Accent or Elantra, cos it really depends on how individual owners take care of their ride.

As long as the car don't give much problem other than the normal wear and tire.. It's a good car.

I also got friend work in selling cars market... and the thingy is entirely opposite..

he discourage sonata and KIA... but Hyundai smaller cars is good.. Guess that every1 stories is different unless hear from the car owners itself... very much depend on the driver style of driving and taking care of the car. Its hard to tell..

So far I'm still riding on those big Buses..( SBS ) tongue.gif
