4000 euros to convert the 225ps 320Nm regular st to a 300ps 400Nm power house.

"For both power classes, WOLF also optimizes the control device, thereby generating additional power in all of the essential engine maps. At the same time, WOLF completely revises the turbo charger in terms of the turbines and the exhaust. In addition, the Neuenstein-based tuner modifies the injection nozzles. Professional tuning means that all necessary steps have to be undertaken when increasing power so that the power-enhanced engine does not die as the result of overheating. Consequently, WOLF also revises the water circulation system so that the cooling system matches the increased power. That way, the customer can rest assured that he will be able to enjoy the increased power for a long time.

The price for the 300 bhp overhaul is 3,950 euros. For the 275 bhp version, the price is 2,740 euros. The more powerful version shines with a maximum torque of around 400 Nm achieved already with roughly 2,100 RPM. The maximum torque of 360 Nm for the 275 bhp Focus is achieved already with 2,000 RPM. In terms of revs, that’s between 30 and 64 Nm more than with the standard version!"

how about upgrading the "humanware" behind wheel?

I think singapore should a have advance driving school for those who want more than 200hp in their cars. There should be a class 3A (for advance rather than auto)

heard the plan to have local track is now gone/canned/killed. i agree with you partly. those who planning and want to drive a more powerful and rear driven cars should at least be put thru certain courses. think this should be conducted by the showroom that sells this cars. i remember when the nissan 200sx and then recently rx8 was bought and put on road by ah bengs (or yuppies for those who looks better and classier), just within the first 3 months, most of them had either visited the barriers or involved in some sort of accident. my humble opinion is that these pple do not realise that the characteristic of a rear driven car (without all its electronic control to keep is safe on road) is more sensitive to steering input than front driven ones. sigh,,,.... I also went for defensive driving course ... SAF style [sly]

Maybe ST Kinetic can make more money by renting out their circuit on weekends to let civilians play with their mini circuit and skid pan.

RWD not so bad lah ... seldom see them wrap around trees compare to the AWD turbos.
