Sony 1st Gear November 16, 2006 Share November 16, 2006 Spare rim can remain as it is.. If you really need to use it, it will only be temporary, so it's "ok" to have 1 15inch and 3 16inch. For some, including myself, don't even put spare tyres in the boot for various reasons.
Tarzan666 2nd Gear November 16, 2006 Author Share November 16, 2006 Thanks 4 replyin..say change to bigger rims..do we need 2 make adjustment to the speedometer or wat..since wheel size different.
Sony 1st Gear November 16, 2006 Share November 16, 2006 BUt your profile of tyres will change as well.. If the overall rolling diameter didn't change within certain permissiable %, then it's ok... And it's best to change up according to spec, otherwise warranty and even insurance will be an issue.
Tarzan666 2nd Gear November 16, 2006 Author Share November 16, 2006 ok..anyway 2 find out the permissable %?stated in manual?
Sony 1st Gear November 16, 2006 Share November 16, 2006 (edited) I suppose you can find it there, mine is on the fuel flap.. if not, there's tyre calculator. I'm not using my usual Laptop, thus do not have the link. You might want to look at the MCF resource folder. I remember seeing it there. It will tell you what is the correct profile to upgrade to by calculating from your current size.
