Queries about buyin new rims/tyres

Helo..Got 1 query..hope some1 can gimme an answer.

Say..

 

1)Car stock is 15inch rims,u 1 2 change 2 16inch rims...do u change ur spare rims 2?or same size but buy a different rims...u all change spare 2?

Spare rim can remain as it is..

 

If you really need to use it, it will only be temporary, so it's "ok" to have 1 15inch and 3 16inch.

 

For some, including myself, don't even put spare tyres in the boot for various reasons.

BUt your profile of tyres will change as well..

 

If the overall rolling diameter didn't change within certain permissiable %, then it's ok... And it's best to change up according to spec,otherwise warranty and even insurance will be an issue.

I suppose you can find it there, mine is on the fuel flap.. if not, there's tyre calculator.

 

I'm not using my usual Laptop, thus do not have the link. You might want to look at the MCF resource folder. I remember seeing it there.

It will tell you what is the correct profile to upgrade to by calculating from your current size.
