Could be the owner did not like the car, or it was involved in an accident, or he had to relocate etc.

The turbo part is the headache part. Cos it comes in when you hit 2000 rpm and which you would confirm do so even if you drive it normally. Unlike those WRX or Evos turbo that kicks in the mid to high range of their rpm, the Copen actually uses it in it's low rpm range to kick off the car so that it won't be too laggy. If this is the case, wear and tear would be accerlated right?

 

So far less than 15 of this car running on our roads. I've check this with some of the Copen guys locally. Wow... even more rare than the Lambos and ferraris.. Hee...

 

My YRV turbo also kick in at low rpm at around 2500rpm. The Charade GTti turbo used to be problematic but new range of turbo is quite ok now... but if u don't use the turcharger for too long is also not so good (if kick in at real high rpm). Wear n tear definately will be, just try not to use it unnecessarily.

 

More rare than Ferrari or Lambo means u are owning an exclusive car (with a affordable price).

Think it "looks" like an OPC. Cos got the little seal knob at both front and rear ends of the license plate if you look carefully.

hey guys, i am also lookin at this copen car for very long liao.

really tempted to buy.

currently drivin a mark x.(sharin with my dad)

i was thinkin i shld stop payin my share of the car and get a opc for myself

this is where copen come into place as i dont need to ferry pple, only myself.

but really thinkin very hard, isit worth to buy this car?

I guess its not really whether its worth it to buy a car like such. You are battling between the desire factor and practical factor. But it will be good times while you are owning it dats for sure. Beats a 4 door sedan anytime, you dun wanna be facelesss in the crowd would ya?

i need to make an informed buy.

tat y i am now collection info and sourcin out those owner who own the car, see if can testdrive or not.

when down to take alook at the car. interior is only soso, but i know the bulb of the money goes to the converible roof and the cuteness. cant testdrive the car.

 

so if any1 has more info on the car, can post it here. any copen owners feedback galdly appreactive.
